Award honours for Barratt's City Point in Brighton
City Point, Barratt Southern Counties' outstanding apartment development in Brighton, has been honoured with an award in the Best Development in East Sussex category at the prestigious Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2008, hosted by Jennie Bond, former BBC Royal Correspondent. The award was presented to Trevor Sawyer, managing director of Barratt Southern Counties, by Eric Pickles, Minister of Parliament for Brentwood and Ongar, at a gala dinner held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday 31st October.
Trevor Sawyer comments: "The very attractive nature of City Point combined with its fantastic location has made this development a huge success. I am delighted that it has been recognised with this important award, which is testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved with City Point."
All the homes at City Point have now been sold, but some very special apartments are still available for sale at Barratt's other award-winning local development, The Gallery, in Hove. The 78 smart contemporary apartments, many with balconies and interconnecting walkways, are built around a spectacular Japanese-style tiered garden. Residents benefit from secure underground parking and their own private gym.
Barratt's three-year price guarantee incentive is available at The Gallery, which takes the risk out of buying a new home in the current market. This offer means that purchasers who wish to sell their home at the development within three years, who find that their home's value is lower than what they paid for it - will receive a refund from Barratt on the difference in price, up to a maximum of 15 per cent. In other words, even if house prices fall 15 per cent by 2011, purchasers will not be out of pocket.
Prices at The Gallery range from £299,995 for a two-bedroom apartment up to £629,995 for a penthouse. For more information, log on to Barratthomes.co.uk.
