Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul rated among top hotels in Europe

In a survey conducted by the US travel magazine Travel & Leisure, Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul was selected 26th best hotel among the top 50 hotels in Europe. The five star deluxe hotel, a member of the “Leading Hotels of the World”, is situated on the European side of the city and lies in a beautiful park, which is part of the former sultan’s palace, the Dolmabahce Palace.

Travel & Leisure magazine performed the survey among its readership to compile its 2008 World’s Best Awards, identifying the best cities, hotels, islands, airlines and cruises in the world for this year. The survey also determined the best according to regions.

“We are very proud that the investments for suites, a major Amrita Spa, new trendy restaurants and mostly our concentration to improve guest services and enhance training for our colleagues have returned such a good result”, says Gerhard Struger, Regional Vice President Turkey & Eastern Europe at Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.

In the same survey the city of Istanbul came to the 8th position worldwide and to the 3rd position within Europe.
