Zoom Airlines expands European service

Zoom Airlines has expanded its European service with the announcement that it has introduced scheduled transatlantic services to Rome, Italy. The new Rome service will be offered from Toronto and Montreal commencing in May 2008. With the addition of Rome, Zoom Airlines now services seven European gateways non-stop from Toronto and three from Montreal.

Zoom Airlines will operate twice weekly flights from Toronto to Rome’s Fiumicino Airport starting May 3rd. Weekly service from Montreal begins on May 6th. Prices for Zoom Airlines’ full service, scheduled flights to Rome, which include meals and in-flight entertainment, will start from $349 one way.

Zoom Airlines’ flexible booking system also enables passengers to buy affordable one way tickets and travel without any restrictions such as staying over a Saturday night. Value-for-money Premium Economy service can be booked for an additional $150 each way offering additional legroom and luggage, reduced check-in time and in-flight meal and drinks benefits.
