Jim Carrey Is Favourite For Last Kiss of 2006

In anticipation of New Year’s Eve and the DVD debut of The Last Kiss on December 26th, Paramount Home Entertainment commissioned a national online survey to see which famous funny men women ages 25-35 would most like to give them the last kiss of 2006.

It seems that Jim Carrey’s performance as the dastardly Count Olaf in Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events didn’t deter women from wanting to lock lips with the comedic actor, who topped the list with 28% of the vote.

21.6% of the ladies surveyed wanted to ring in the new year by smooching The Last Kiss star Zach Braff, tying him with prankster Johnny Knoxville, whose Jackass Number Two also debuts on DVD December 26.

Rounding out the list, Stranger Than Fiction star Will Ferrell had 20% of women ready to pucker up, and it seems that Jack Black’s stretchy pants in Nacho Libre got 8.8% of voters excited enough to put the smack-down on him.

The survey was conducted by PKS Research Partners.

Zach Braff (Garden State) leads an ensemble cast of up-and-comers and seasoned veterans in the funny and touching The Last Kiss. Written by Academy Award winner Paul Haggis (Million Dollar Baby, Crash), The Last Kiss follows four male friends as they struggle with love, infidelity, forgiveness, marriage, friendship and the inevitability of turning 30.
