The easy way to buy a home in Cadishead
First time buyers who fear they have been priced out of the property market could find homeownership is more affordable than they realised thanks to Redrow.
The award-winning housebuilder is offering customers the chance to save more than £18,000 off the initial price of selected properties at Hayes Green in Cadishead, near Irlam.
Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), commented: “Research by the Halifax indicates that the majority of non-homeowners want to buy but think they won’t be able to because they haven’t got a large deposit. We’ve got some great news for them – if they’ve managed to save around £5,000 they could find that it’s enough to secure a brand new home at Hayes Green with the help of ‘easi:buy’.”
Redrow’s ‘easi:buy’ incentive allows customers to defer paying up to 15% of the price of selected properties at Hayes Green. So a two-bedroom ‘Evesham’ style home could be snapped up for an initial outlay of £106,246 instead of the full market price of £124,995.
Subject to terms and conditions, buyers can pay the remaining share at any time within the next 10 years when they have more funds available.
“First time buyers may think they have to settle for an older home that’s in need of lots of work to be able to afford a home of their own. But while it may seem cheaper, it’s likely to be a false economy as it could cost tens of thousands of pounds to bring a second hand property up to the same high standard of one of our new homes,” Elaine added.
It’s not just first time buyers who can find what they’re looking for at Hayes Green. The venture also features a choice of three and four-bedroom family homes that are traditional on the outside, but bright and modern inside.
