Mayor unveils new homes in Ampthill

The Mayor of Ampthill, Councillor Margaret Wilson recently unveiled two stunning new show homes at Bloor Homes’ Ampthill Heights development off the A507 in Ampthill.

Accompanied by Councillor Margaret Wright, the Mayor was given a tour of the development which once complete will provide Ampthill with a total of 105 one, three, four and five bedroom family homes, including townhouses and detached properties.

Following the official unveiling of the show homes, the Mayor of Ampthill, Councillor Margaret Wilson said: “I am delighted to have been asked to officially open the show homes and I hope the new residents will be very happy and build a strong community here.”

The two new show homes include the three bedroom ‘Fanhope’ design and the four bedroom ‘Midhurst’. Each has been created with modern furnishings to complement the excellent internal specification, synonymous with a Bloor home.

There are a range of fitted kitchens colours and door styles to choose from, subject to stage of construction. All kitchens feature integrated dishwasher and fridge / freezer, stainless steel sink and splashback to gas hob and extractor hood. Other finishes include white sanitaryware and chrome taps to bathrooms, fitted wardrobes to the master bedroom and landscaped front gardens.

The ancient market town of Ampthill lies at the heart of rural Mid Bedfordshire among open, wooded countryside, interspersed by small, attractive villages. The expansion of neighbouring town, Flitwick, has meant that Ampthill has become a haven for discerning commuters to Bedford and London St Pancras. Close to the M1, those who commute by road will have easy access to Milton Keynes, Northampton and Rugby in the North and Luton, St Albans and Watford in the South.
