Setting up home in Selby just got easier
Setting up home in Selby is now even easier thanks to Redrow.
The stylish, affordable apartments at Debut at Selby are proving popular, particularly with first time buyers.
With a choice of one-bedroom apartments and just one two-bedroom apartment available, Redrow is now offering a home starter pack with selected properties.
Patsy Aicken, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), explained: “At Redrow we understand that setting up home can be expensive and that many who are starting out in life won’t have any furniture or even basic essentials such as crockery and cutlery. With that in mind we’re now offering customers the chance to buy selected Debut apartments with a furniture package worth more than £2,000.”
The apartments are now being marketed from Redrow’s nearby Mulberry Grange venture and can be viewed by appointment. But on October 9th and 10th and October 16th and 17th the doors at Debut at Selby will be thrown open and customers will be invited to look around at their leisure.
“We know that it’s important for house hunters to be able to look around a property and get a real feel of what it would be like as their home, so we’re opening two apartments for viewing,” Patsy commented.
“Furnished by a team of professional interior designers from Show Business Interiors with a budget to match what’s available in the home starter pack, the apartments demonstrate how customers could choose to furnish their new pad.
“Many people look to interior designers for inspiration when furnishing their own home, but Debut customers can choose to replicate the looks that have been created here or have a bit of fun picking out their preferred items of furniture without having to worry about offending well-intentioned family and friends who want to hand down their cast-offs.”
Priced from just £55,500, the apartments are ideal starter homes and could be the difference between a lifetime of spending ‘dead money’ on rent and getting a foot onto the property ladder.
With the option to defer up to 25% of the purchase price, a one-bedroom apartment could be yours for an initial outlay of just £41,625. It means that buyers shouldn’t need a large cash deposit and will be able to access some of the better mortgage rates around.
“You could even find that the mortgage repayments are lower than the rent would be for a similar sized property. And you don’t need to worry about budgeting for utility bills as gas, electricity and water charges, even the window cleaning, are included in a single monthly service charge,” Patsy commented.
