Residual values for the segment-busting Nissan Juke crossover are some of the best in the industry.

Data provided by CAP shows they range from an impressive 52% to 54% based on three years/60,000 miles of ownership.

This extremely competitive figure is higher than many of Juke’s B-segment competitors. For comparison, the MINI hatchback has RVs of 48% and 50% for petrol and diesel models respectively. The Juke’s rating is on a par with the MINI Countryman, which also has a RV of 52%.

Tony Lewis, Nissan’s corporate sales director said: “We have worked hard to ensure that Juke ownership is hassle-free, and that includes the retained value of the car.  Potential customers who love the Juke’s style can now buy with confidence.”

Juke insurance ratings start at Group 11E for the 1.6-litre 117bhp petrol in Visia trim. Acenta and Tekna versions with the same engine are both rated Group 12E. For cars with the more powerful 190bhp engine, the rating is Group 21E except for the 4WD model which is Group 20E.

All Jukes powered by the 1.5-litre dCi 110bhp diesel are Group 13E, except for the entry level Visia which is Group 12E.
