Elaine states: “We take our role in the communities we build in very seriously and always strive to forge closer relationships with local schools. We thought it would be a great idea to include a piece of art from Colham Manor Primary School in our showhome, which I’m sure will become a lovely talking point with several of our visitors and purchasers.
“We received some really fantastic pictures through, which made judging a very difficult task and I’d like to thank each and every one of them for their enthusiasm and creativity. Congratulations to our winner Lanval though as his entry really stood out and encapsulated the Dream Home theme.”
Lanval received £15 of gift vouchers from Charles Church while ten year old Seyed Ali Abdallahi and nine year old Taylor Salmon, who were runners up received £10 of vouchers. As a thank you to Colham Manor Primary School, Charles Church presented them with a voucher for £100 towards new art equipment.
Mr Hawley, head teacher of Colham Manor Primary School, comments: “This was a great activity for the children as it was a nice opportunity for the pupils to do something that was fun, but made them think about the sort of home they’d like to live in at the same time.”
