Antler Homes awards prizes to colouring kids
Simon Potter of Antler Homes’ Pear Trees Gardens development in Great Barr, Birmingham, today presented the four winning children from Great Barr Primary School with their £20 book vouchers following the colouring competition held in the school recently.
He praised the exceptional quality and imagination the children all displayed with the entries and said that he had been surprised and delighted to have 94 entries to sift through to find the eventual winners. The four winning pictures have been framed and will be adorning the walls of the show home for all to see and enjoy over the coming weeks.
The winners – Zarah Munir (Year1), Latia Edwards (year 2), Ananya Painter (Year 3) and Shiv Padhiar (Year 4) – were delighted with their £20 of book tokens and Simon has invited them, and all the school, to come to the show home and see the artwork on display in the show house.
Andrew Storey, Group Sales Director, of Antler Homes says: “Our Pear Tree Gardens development is ideally suited to family living so what better way to integrate ourselves with the surrounding community than by running a colouring competition with the local school. The competition has also proved to be a fun activity for the children to take part in, and we received some very imaginative entries!”
Antler Homes pledged £2 per entry to the school and the school will soon receive a cheque for £188.
