Barratt helps Hucclecote FC to cup final glory

Hucclecote youth football club is celebrating this week – thanks to the extraordinary success of its under 16s players. Sponsored by Barrat, the team enjoyed a well earned 2-0 victory in the league cup final, crowning a triumphant season within the Gloucester Youth Football League.

“The team has performed fantastically on every level this year – and the support we’ve had from Barratt has helped us a great deal,” said Ken Fagan, Hucclecote Football Club chairman.

Ken - who is the nephew of legendary Liverpool FC manager, Joe Fagan – successfully led his team to the league and cup 2009/10 double. And back-up off the pitch is incredibly important to him. “The players really appreciate all that their families do to ensure they get to each practice session and each game without fail,” he said.

“But there is more to it than that. We need to raise funds to pay for kit, travel and so on – and partners like Barratt help make that possible. On behalf of the team, I’d like to thank them for all they have done.”
