Linden Homes Western launches its much anticipated Kingston Mills development in Bradford on Avon on Saturday 17th April. The site, which has been derelict for 18 years, is an important landmark development in the heart of Bradford on Avon.

Linden will be revealing a scheme that will eventually provide new office space, cafes, restaurants, a convenience store, and 170 new homes. 30% of the homes built will be for rent or part ownership – a great boost for an area where opportunities for affordable homes have been scarce up until now. There will be a variety of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes some of which will be on the riverside and some will be in the re-furbished historic buildings.

Nigel Palmer, Managing Director at Linden Homes, commented:

“We are thrilled that all the hard work, ongoing consultation with the local community and commitment to this prominent site is now being translated into a project that will create a seamless extension to the historic town centre. Kingston Mills is finally going to become a vibrant part of the town once more.”

The official launch will be from the library in Bridge Street. Visitors will be able to see the layout and plans from 10am on Saturday 17th April. The library was chosen because it provides a unique opportunity to view the whole Kingston Mills site through panoramic windows.

If you are one of those who dreams of living in the centre of Bradford on Avon and want to be one of the first to see the plans revealed, visit the library on Saturday. Alternatively get in touch with selling agents Davies & Davies in Bradford.
