Weird and wonderful at Bewilderwood
If you are feeling creative and you fancy making and decorating weird and wonderful clothes and accessories, then go along to Mildred’s Weird Wardrobe Weekend at Bewilderwood, the curious treehouse adventure park, on 25th and 26th July. They’ll provide you with glue, glitter, crayons, scraps of colourful card and all things sparkly to help you make and decorate handbags, tiaras, shoes and boots - just like Mildred’s! When you’ve finished you can hang your wonderful creations in the Fartree, or take them home to hang in your own garden.
Jo Artherton, marketing manager at Bewilderwood, says: “Kids love to be creative and at Mildred’s Weird Wardrobe Weekend they can use their imaginations to design and make their own versions of the strange things they might find in Mildred’s closet. It will be great fun, very colourful and probably wonderfully messy, too!”
Bewilderwood, perfect for outdoor healthy play, has loads to offer children and adults of all ages. Take a glorious boat ride through the Dismal Dyke, investigate the magical treehouses and ride the zip wires. There is also Toddlewood for toddlers, plus locally sourced food and eating areas, ‘including ‘The Cosy Cabin’, ‘The Snack Shack’ and ‘The Munch Bar’.
During the summer, the woods provide a lovely cool sheltered haven to climb up into the treehouses, zoom down the slippery slope, get lost in the Muddle Maze or show how brave you are on the zip wires!
Bewilderwood is located in woodland off the A1062 near Wroxham, situated near the beautiful surrounding of Hoveton Little Broad.
