Gloucester Rugby coach, Barny Allen (25), certainly has lots to smile about - not only is his team top of the premiership and the Heineken Cup league, but he has also just become the proud owner of a two bedroom coach house at Barratt Homes’ picturesque Coopers Edge development in Gloucester.

“As a first time buyer it can be a bit daunting, however the staff at Barratt made it much easier, recommending a mortgage advisor and pushing to get the best deal possible for me. Even after the sale had gone through and I had moved in, the customer care was excellent, making sure I was completely happy and answering any questions I had.”

Coopers Edge offers a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes. It has proved to be extremely popular and only a few properties in the first phase of development are still available. The second phase, due for completion next year, will offer two, three and four-bedroom homes, with prices ranging from £155,500 to £289,995.
