School set to benefit thanks to generous George
Generous George Wimpey has ‘dug’ deep once again, this time donating a charitable £400 to Wymeswold C of E Primary School in Wymeswold, Leicestershire. The leading housebuilder, whose Fox Hollies development is situated nearby in the village of Wymeswold, is hoping that the donation will go some way to help refurbish the school’s ailing PE equipment storage area.Sharon Deackes, Headteacher of Wymeswold C of E Primary School, explains: “This big-hearted offer from George Wimpey will go a long way to providing better equipment storage for the benefit of our pupils.
“It’s nice to see such a large company taking time to assist the local community and show that they have the well being of the area they are working in, at heart.”
Lianne Hobbs, Sales Executive for George Wimpey East Midlands comments: “We have been working in Wymeswold for almost a year now and we believe that this is the right time to be giving back to this wonderful close knit community.
“One of the main features of this beautiful village is the local Primary School so what better way than offering them something from which local children can benefit?
“George Wimpey is dedicated to promoting the areas in which we work and we hope that this brings some positive attention to this perfect location in rural Leicestershire.”
