Pop-up GP service launches at East London hospital
BMI The London Independent Hospital has announced the launch of its pop-up ‘Rapid Access Medical’ service, that will provide people with convenient access to private GP’s during the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The service, which will be based at BMI The London Independent Hospital in Stepney Green, will offer local resident and visitors to East London access to a convenient, cost effective service for minor injuries and illnesses on a “rapid access” basis. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm, throughout July and August, the pop-up service will be supported by the medical expertise and facilities available at BMI The London Independent Hospital.
Speaking on the launch of the pop up service Laura Eviston, Director of Nursing at BMI The London Independent Hospital commented, “The launch of this pop up service aims to offer local residents and visitors to East London, the option of accessing a private GP service, backed up by the services of one of London’s leading private hospitals. Should visitors and local residents need fast access to medical treatment or require a more routine checkup we are pleased to be able to offer our services for their convenience.”
